The Hubsan X4 H107C is an affordable mini quadcopter with a camera that is capable of taking pictures and videos while in-flight. This drone is one of the earliest drones released by Hubsan, and it has a long history of revisions and different variations. In this article, I’ll be reviewing the latest model of it, while walking through the history of the quadcopter.
The history of the H107C
It was this model of Hubsan years ago which rose them to fame. Years have passed, and the model has gone through much more changes and revisions.
The first version of the model had a short-range flight, and a very poor quality camera. I have not seen this model sold anymore, so there isn’t much that needs to be told about it.
The second version of the model used a better antenna for more flight range.
Today’s Hubsan X4 H107C
Today, the regular Hubsan X4 H107C is an improved continuation of the third version that I’ve mentioned in the earlier subsection. There are three active listings on Amazon, and I’ll outline each one of them in the next section of the review. The main thing to remember is that the differences are not major, and all of the current listings (from my knowledge) use the same antenna and therefore have the same range.
Where to buy the Hubsan X4 H107C
As any other of Hubsan’s remote control quadcopters, the H107C is available on Amazon.com. I’ve provided the links below for each of the current available variations, as well as a brief explanation of each one.
This model is the earlier listing of the H107C, and is only $28:
The following model is the latest one, and comes with a 720p camera:
This model is a green version of it:
And if you plan to buy the quadcopter, I’d recommend grabbing a few spare extra batteries as well. They’re also sold on Amazon for a cheap price:
From the listing above, you are also often recommended to buy the quadcopter’s guard. This is a wise option if it isn’t included in the box within your version.
The Plus Variation of the Model
Due to its astonishing performance, Hubsan has upgraded this model entirely, making the Hubsan X4 H107C+. We made an entire post talking about this model as well, and if you’d like to check it out, you can do so by clicking here.
To conclude the review
The Hubsan X4 H107C is one of the most solid mini quadcopters in the market and has made itself known throughout the years. With a highly functional remote control and great maneuverability, the H107C is arguably the best quadcopter out there for its low price. If you have a higher budget, we would recommend checking out our review on the upgraded version of the model, H107C Plus.
